Make your car carbon neutral!
The science regarding
global warming
is pretty clear on one thing - there is an increasing amount of carbon dioxide ("CO2") in the planet's atmosphere.
Carbon dioxide is one of the major contributors to global warming. Cars, factories, trucks and buses, home heating
and air conditioning, coal fired and diesel power generating plants and the indiscriminate clearing of forests are
some of the things that contribute to rising CO2 in our atmosphere. As a consumer it can make one feel pretty
powerless. However, there is something simple and cost effective one can do!
Fund the planting of sufficient tropical trees
to sequester your car's CO2 emissions for a 10 year period for only $750 USD. It is established science that tropical
trees account for 95% of the tree-based CO2 removal from our planet's atmosphere. It is also established fact that tropical
trees sequester an average of 50 lbs of CO2 per annum. The Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") of the United
States estimates that the average North American car emits some 12,100 lbs of CO2 per annum. So do the math. If you divide
12,100 lbs by 50 lbs you get 242 tropical trees.
Our
CO2 Tropical Trees program will plant, care for and maintain 250 tropical trees for a 10 year period,
in effect making your car carbon neutral for those 10 years, all for only $750 USD. On an annual basis that is the cost
of 1 or 2 fill-ups. This is real, easy to do, and of great benefit to the planet in our struggle against global warming
and climate change, not to mention the endangered
wildlife
habitat those trees provide. So join me, Dexter Dombro, in making a commitment today for a better world!
