My Profile
I thought I'd take a page from
Facebook,
LinkedIn
and other social networking sites and call this page my profile. It seems that people in business are always interested
in who I am and what I am up to, so hopefully this page will be helpful. I also enjoy hearing from friends and acquaintances
from all over the world, so maybe this web site will make contact easier. At the same time I am always cautious of those intent
on identity theft, so don't expect me to be too revealing in some instances.
I currently live and work in San José, the capital of Costa Rica, in Central America. My youngest son Dagan goes to
school here at the Colegio SEK Internacional,
an awesome private school. The school is bilingual Spanish and English, with Mandarin taught as a required third language.
Together with my wife of 28 years, Dr. Kochurani Dombro, I work with
Vivienda Housing and Mortgage Corp.
to bring affordable low cost housing to local working families.
Our humanitarian real estate projects seek to give those working families the opportunity to get out of slum and sub-standard
housing and into their own homes with property title, running water, sanitation and modern utilities.
When I am not in San José, you will find me out at
Amazonia Reforestation's
7,116 acre tropical tree farm and natural reserve
called
La Pedregoza, along the banks of the Rio el Bita near the mighty Orinoco
River in Vichada, Colombia. Afforestation and reforestation allows me to help in the
fight against global warming and climate change with our
CO2 Tropical Trees program.
